Katy joins The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas

Katy Perry‘s teenage dream has been fulfilled. The 28-year-old singer joined The Rolling Stones on stage to perform a duet with Mick Jagger at their MGM Grand Garden Arena show in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 11.

A few hours before their 50 and Counting tour performance, the band announced that Perry would be making a special appearance. “I’m much obliged and quite honored,” the “Wide Awake” singer responded.

For her guest duet, Perry took the stage in a sexy leather dress and tall boots to sing the band’s 1978 classic “Beast of Burden” with Jagger, 69.

Katy Perry unveiled her third fragrance “Killer Queen”

The songstress unveiled her third fragrance and she looked perfectly poised and pretty on her throne in a Thom Browne creation.

Another day, another interesting look from the one and only Katy Perry. It’s clear the star certainly came prepared to put her most stylish foot forward during her NYC trip! The 28-year-old was perched on her throne at the James B. Duke Mansion in NYC on May 2, where Katy was on hand to promote her ‘Killer Queen’ fragrance.

Katy Perry Killer Queen Launch Dress:

While she opted for a very busy printed gown from Thom Browne’s Fall 2013 collection, I thought Katy managed to pull off the red-and-white rose print. The strapless dress allowed Katy to flaunt her flawless skin while the embroidered detailing matched the color of the throne she sat upon. The voluminous skirt added to the dramatics of the occasion.

Katy looked like a queen from the 16th century — and I think that’s exactly the spirit she was channeling for this event. The dress was perfect for a ‘Killer Queen’ like Katy.

Sure, the look has a lot going on and I must admit I would probably hate to see it on a red carpet — but Katy and her quirky nature totally makes it work! Not only was it consistent with the theme of the event but Katy didn’t get buried beneath the print and the fabric.

Alice + Olivia pumps, Lorraine Schwartz bracelets, a FALLON Signature monogram bracelet, David Yurman pinky ring, and Chopard earrings polished off her promotional get-up. The star wore her signature raven locks in soft waves and sported a matching red pout and a red and gold manicure.

Even if you aren’t a fan of Katy’s most recent frock there’s no denying the fact that this gal likes to have fun with fashion — and I commend her for that! What do you think? Is Katy’s look way too crazy or do you love the way she embraces interesting outfit choices?
